Spectators: 5014 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1013, VIP seats: 0) Great Fc's Gido de Jaeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Lensen in the 5th minute of play. The Great Fc fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Great Fc's Leon Schaap looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute of the match Edgard Valentijn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Mensing skillfully saved the ball. In the 16th match minute, Rockanje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Theissen to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Wilson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred Mensing came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfred Wilson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Gido de Jaeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar van Zwieten in the 31st minute of the match. Fred Mensing stood somewhat misplaced when Leon Schaap came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. The supporters of Great Fc booed when Rockanje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Kors didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 40 in the game by Leon Schaap from a close distance when the talented Fred Mensing managed to make a qualified save. Rockanje's players were relieved. In the 42nd minute, Leon Schaap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menno Iemberge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Valentijn's late challenge caught a Rockanje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Valentijn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Great Fc getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edgard Valentijn hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dirk-Jan Huizen to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Rockanje's Dirk-Jan Huizen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gido de Jaeger. That made the score 3-1 after 51 minutes of play. In the 59th minute Dirk-Jan Huizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gido de Jaeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Rockanje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Verheije to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Billy Lokin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gido de Jaeger made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Jim Lensen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Rockanje booed when Great Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menno Iemberge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Mensing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menno Iemberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Billy Lokin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Mensing skillfully saved the ball. Fred Mensing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Schaap's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Oscar van Zwieten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gido de Jaeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Great Fc's Leon Schaap in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rockanje's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Leon Schaap sped through Rockanje's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fred Mensing. The crowd rose to their feet as Oscar van Zwieten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gido de Jaeger. That made the score 4-2 in the 90 minute of play. The supporters of Great Fc booed when Rockanje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Kors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiën Ruiter's late challenge caught a Great Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiën Ruiter helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rockanje fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Billy Lokin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Great Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rockanje for a fine match.
