In the 29th of the match, Radomir Barniszke tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Harry Adams got in the way and made a wonderful save. Henk van Beukerings short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Harry Adams to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Albert van Dijk fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPARTA Rotterdam's protests and gave Albert van Dijk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of sc Krul booed when SPARTA Rotterdam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henk van Beukering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, SPARTA Rotterdam's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Barniszke came free, but Harry Adams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Henk van Beukering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sc Krul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henk van Beukering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SPARTA Rotterdam's Harry Adams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Barniszke in the 82nd minute of play. Henk van Beukering struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Harry Adams didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sc Krul. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Radomir Barniszke managed to get in a good position for a shot. sc Krul's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Barniszke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Adams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. sc Krul had played much better football throughout.
