An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Barniszke in the 5th minute of play forced Brommelen's goalkeeper Martin Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Barniszke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ros having to interfere. Niek van der Bij made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by sc Krul's Mathieu Wijkstra. Radomir Barniszke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Lukas Geerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brommelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sc Krul the free kick. In the 19th minute, Lukas Geerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, sc Krul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Vennegoor to maneuver through the defense. Martin Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Barniszke, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Henk van Beukering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radomir Barniszke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Martin Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brommelen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Florian Konterman shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomir Barniszke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Ros. That made the score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. Gerrit Hateboer charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerrit Hateboer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 48 minutes into the game, one of Brommelen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 50 minutes, sc Krul's Florian Konterman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Martin Ros. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Henk van Beukering made the kick off in the second half. Maurits Bekker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Enzing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Mathieu Wijkstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk van Beukering in the 68th minute of play. Lukas Geerts was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lukas Geerts hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Radomir Barniszke came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the sc Krul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Barniszke couldn't finish the play. Radomir Barniszke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Brommelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Enzing to maneuver through the defense. When Hans-Cees Assendelft came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Brommelen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Cees Assendelft couldn't finish the play. Maurits Bekker made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Hans-Cees Assendelft sent off a good shot on target. Erwin Buckinx's late challenge caught a Brommelen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erwin Buckinx helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Erwin Buckinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Radomir Barniszke managed to get in a good position for a shot. sc Krul's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Barniszke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. sc Krul had played much better football throughout.
