With a little luck, Heiberg SC's Koen Dekker got control of the ball when Rik Klok tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rik Klok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koen Dekker was a little too slow when Meindert Ubels got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rik Klok succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 24th playminute. Niels-Jan van der Meer kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Heiberg SC's Koen Dekker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Heiberg SC from getting a goal against them. Koen Dekker stood somewhat misplaced when Rik Klok came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Thanks to some nice moves Rik Klok could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Koen Dekker however easily saved by the left post. Rik Klok could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Koen Dekker made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Yuri de Zaaijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garreweer Eendracht were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Heiberg SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Co Kleine took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rik Klok was the one to do the kick off. Rik Klok struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Koen Dekker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garreweer Eendracht. Koen Dekker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rik Klok's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Koen Dekker came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Garreweer Eendracht's Rik Klok. But to his dismay, Rik Klok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Heiberg SC's Yuri de Zaaijer got a free kick in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Heiberg SC's Niels-Jan van der Meer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Mosselveld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Koen Dekker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rik Klok in the 74th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Bruno Hommes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koen Dekker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Heiberg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rik Klok came free, but Koen Dekker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bruno Hommes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Garreweer Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Hommes couldn't finish the play. Douwe Schuiling succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 92nd playminute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Heiberg SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garreweer Eendracht:s goal. The referee gave Garreweer Eendracht a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Co Kleine, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Heiberg SC's Koen Dekker. 6-1.
