Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert-Jan Maasland took the kick off in the first half of the match. Demy Dost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Zadelhoff in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Robert-Jan Maasland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demy Dost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koen Spoel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demy Dost having to interfere. If Aad Barels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Henk Adelaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schoorl's Herman Roeters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herman Roeters was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Henk Adelaar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henk Adelaar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 35 minutes, Robert-Jan Maasland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schoorl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert-Jan Maasland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Henk Adelaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aad Barels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes SCL89 got a freekick which was hit by Aad Barels. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Henk Adelaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Roeters was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Jacco de Visser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Schoorl's Herman Roeters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Adelaar in the 59th minute of play. Richard Stevens kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Herman Roeters came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SCL89's Jacco de Visser. But to his dismay, Jacco de Visser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jacco de Visser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Koen Spoel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demy Dost was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jacco de Visser didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Herman Roeters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Adelaar in the 92nd minute of play.
