Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gert van Zijderveld took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arne van Baarle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Oorthuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolf Oorthuis took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne van Baarle. Arne van Baarle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 minutes, Dolf Oorthuis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc De Goorn and the Zwartendijk Eendracht players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Fc De Goorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf Oorthuis to maneuver through the defense. Theo Lyesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Zwartendijk Eendracht's Theo Lyesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pieter Mols narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arne van Baarle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koos Elst in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zwartendijk Eendracht's Harry Timmerman got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Dolf Oorthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne van Baarle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Zwartendijk Eendracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Timmerman to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Zwartendijk Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Oorthuis came free, but Arne van Baarle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Theo Lyesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fc De Goorn's Sjoerd de Visser got a free kick in the 29th minute. Koen Kauffeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danny Rueda's late challenge caught a Fc De Goorn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Rueda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc De Goorn booed when Zwartendijk Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Rueda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koos Elst missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Arne van Baarle right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Lyesen in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pieter Mols saved Fc De Goorn from getting behind. Fc De Goorn's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Koen Kauffeld 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Theo Lyesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc De Goorn's Pieter Mols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Lyesen in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theo Lyesen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Koen Kauffeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Gert van Zijderveld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne van Baarle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koen Kauffeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Theo Lyesen sped through Fc De Goorn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pieter Mols. Zwartendijk Eendracht's Koen Kauffeld got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne van Baarle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert van Zijderveld, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gido Langenbach struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pieter Mols didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zwartendijk Eendracht. Pieter Mols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Lyesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Theo Lyesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter Mols having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Koos Elst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc De Goorn and the Zwartendijk Eendracht players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Koos Elst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph van Wonderen kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Zwartendijk Eendracht's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
