Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erben Eylens started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Valkenhuizen RKSV's Bart Steelman got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartosz Karanowski in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastiaan Ronde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Erben Eylens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 14 played minutes Valkenhuizen RKSV got a freekick which was hit by Erben Eylens. After a rather tough play, Hueco Mundo's Edgar Koops got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sebastiaan Ronde had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bartosz Karanowski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hueco Mundo's Frank Senden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastiaan Ronde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Hueco Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Steelman came free, but Steve van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastiaan Ronde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartosz Karanowski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Hueco Mundo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rogier van den Brink hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Nassar Alhusain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastiaan Ronde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.

When Bart Steelman came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Valkenhuizen RKSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Steelman couldn't finish the play. Sebastiaan Ronde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Karanowski in the 54th minute of play. Sebastiaan Ronde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Karanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nassar Alhusain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match, Bart Steelman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Steve van der Schans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 67 minutes of play, Valkenhuizen RKSV's Erben Eylens made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steve van der Schans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valkenhuizen RKSV's Sebastiaan Ronde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Karanowski in the 70th minute of play. Bart Steelman hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bartosz Karanowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastiaan Ronde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartosz Karanowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastiaan Ronde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Karanowski in the 85th minute of play. When Rogier van den Brink fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hueco Mundo's protests and gave Rogier van den Brink a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Hueco Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Rogier van den Brink. Edgar Koops received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sebastiaan Ronde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
