Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan Steelman made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 7 minutes, Daniel Rieks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nauerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Rieks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Steelman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ramon Winters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leemberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Winters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Aalst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Gregor Severijnse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Nauerna's Olaf Geerdink tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Steelman in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maarten Tellingen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Rieks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Maarten Tellingen made a huge save. Mark Stam hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Daniel Rieks didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 21st minute. Nauerna's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Jurgen Pepping fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leemberg FC's protests and gave Jurgen Pepping a yellow card for diving instead. Jurgen Pepping kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Leemberg FC's Maarten Tellingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Steelman in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leemberg FC's Reinier Meier got a free kick in the 34th minute. Leemberg FC's Maarten Tellingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Leemberg FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Jan Steelman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leemberg FC's Maarten Tellingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guus Matthijs in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st of the match, Jan Steelman tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Maarten Tellingen got in the way and made a wonderful save. Leemberg FC's Maarten Tellingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Leemberg FC from getting a goal against them. Jan Steelman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maarten Tellingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Koster in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Stam to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nauerna booed when Leemberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Severijnse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Steelman struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Maarten Tellingen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nauerna. 61 minutes into the game, Nauerna's Jan Steelman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maarten Tellingen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Steelman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maarten Tellingen saved Leemberg FC from getting behind. Reinier Meier hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Ramon Winters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leemberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Winters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Aalst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Stam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leemberg FC's Gregor Severijnse got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Nauerna's Olaf Geerdink tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maarten Tellingen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Steelman went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Steelman in the 79th minute of play forced Leemberg FC's goalkeeper Maarten Tellingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leemberg FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Geerdink was slow to take the kick. During this time Nauerna's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nauerna's Olaf Geerdink to fire away a dangerous shot which Maarten Tellingen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Jan Steelman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maarten Tellingen. Leemberg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Steelman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 90 minutes into the match, Leemberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorn Verhoeven came free, but Maarten Tellingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Reinier Meier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leemberg FC and the Nauerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reinier Meier hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jan Steelman struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Maarten Tellingen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nauerna. Nauerna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
