Karel Hoezen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Piening, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Piening received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Karel Hoezen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Soepkippen's Dolf Brinker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Kuys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Wessel Soer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerrit van der Doelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. corumspor's Michael Kuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit van der Doelen in the 30th minute of play. If Gerrit van der Doelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. corumspor's Michael Kuys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save corumspor from getting a goal against them. After 44 minutes of play, Soepkippen's Gerrit van der Doelen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Kuys was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dolf Brinker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Michael Kuys skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

If Dick Piening had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Meindert Staarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Wessel Soer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. corumspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soepkippen the free kick. Floris Wagenaar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Kuys. corumspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Michael Kuys came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Soepkippen's Dolf Brinker. But to his dismay, Dolf Brinker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 74th minute, Boudewijn van Assen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dick Piening fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Hoezen having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Soepkippen's goal looked a bit too open when Meindert Staarman came free, but Karel Hoezen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Kuys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Brinker in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dolf Brinker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soepkippen's supporters rose to their feet, but Dolf Brinker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Kuys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerrit van der Doelen struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Michael Kuys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soepkippen. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soepkippen fully deserved thier win.
