Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Ernst Siepel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Jordy Schaars successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gerjan Bosschaart took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordy Schaars. Jordy Schaars dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Kostermans in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franck van Zomeren saved Acquoij S.C. from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Ernst Siepel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans-Cees Oost might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franck van Zomeren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans-Cees Oost ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Cees Oost in the 33rd minute of play forced Acquoij S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck van Zomeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Han van Zeijl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acquoij S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Han van Zeijl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordy Schaars breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Ernst Siepel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordy Schaars. Den Haag CL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernst Siepel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Han van Zeijl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans van der Gun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jordy Schaars made a huge save. Jordy Schaars was a little too slow when Frans van der Gun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-1. If Ernst Siepel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Jeroen Bosman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans-Cees Oost to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Johannes Bergman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordy Schaars was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ernst Siepel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordy Schaars took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Den Haag CL's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Siepel came free, but Jordy Schaars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jordy Schaars tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acquoij S.C.'s Frans van der Gun got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Den Haag CL getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Folker Neijsen hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Acquoij S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck van Zomeren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Acquoij S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck van Zomeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pim Rinzema. Franck van Zomeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Cees Oost, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Cees Oost in the 77th minute of play forced Acquoij S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck van Zomeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernst Siepel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordy Schaars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gerjan Bosschaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Schaars having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Den Haag CL's zone, Johannes Bergman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Schaars came out of the goal and Johannes Bergman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Frans van der Gun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acquoij S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. There was no doubt that Acquoij S.C. were the better team. Acquoij S.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
