Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) When Gert Israel fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bilboa Emphes's protests and gave Gert Israel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Gert Israel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordy Schaars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Arend Blikman in the 7th minute of the match. Hans-Cees Oost's late challenge caught a Bilboa Emphes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans-Cees Oost helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Den Haag CL's Hans-Cees Oost got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Den Haag CL defense, Barry Bosma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jordy Schaars. The Den Haag CL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jordy Schaars should have stopped the shot. Jordy Schaars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Bosma in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Den Haag CL's zone, Remus Robu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Schaars came out of the goal and Remus Robu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jordy Schaars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Robu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Den Haag CL got a freekick which was hit by Pim Rinzema. Pim Rinzema kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jack Molnar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Barry Bosma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Schaars having to interfere. Chris van Olst was a little too slow when Hans-Cees Oost got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. Barry Bosma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barry Bosma to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Geert Arend Blikman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Gert Israel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, one of Bilboa Emphes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Den Haag CL a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benjamin Rinzema, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bilboa Emphes's Chris van Olst. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Cees Oost in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris van Olst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hans-Cees Oost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Den Haag CL's Jordy Schaars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Robu in the 75th minute of play. Chris van Olst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pim Rinzema in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Tomas Kostermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris van Olst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeroen Bosman's late challenge caught a Bilboa Emphes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeroen Bosman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87thth minute of the game Barry Bosma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Den Haag CL's Jordy Schaars was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Bilboa Emphes's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Cees Oost came free, but Chris van Olst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Bilboa Emphes got a freekick which was hit by Henk de Kort. Bilboa Emphes's Chris van Olst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Rinzema in the 90th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Hans-Cees Oost had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chris van Olst. Bilboa Emphes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans-Cees Oost was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
