Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joop Heulmann started the match with the kick off. Geale van Steensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Pluym in the 3rd minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Boudewijn Anneese cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geale van Steensel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roekoe's Geale van Steensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Heulmann in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk-Jan Roetering in the 16th minute of play forced Roekoe's goalkeeper Geale van Steensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk-Jan Roetering took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geale van Steensel. Geale van Steensel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thijs Holsmuller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bruno Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Julián Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geale van Steensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Julián Peter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geale van Steensel. Roekoe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julián Peter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 40th match minute, SV Huizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Wansink to maneuver through the defense. Roekoe's Geale van Steensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Peter in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Pascal Timmermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Klok in the 47th minute of play forced Roekoe's goalkeeper Geale van Steensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half SV Huizen were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes SV Huizen got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Otten. In the 53rd minute, Steven Landzaat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SV Huizen's Bruno Claris didn't even have to move. Thijs Holsmuller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Claris having to interfere. Steven Landzaat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bruno Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Roekoe got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Timmermans. Joop Heulmann scored 0-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geale van Steensel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joop Heulmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geale van Steensel came out and tried to block the shot, but Joop Heulmann slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 76th minute. A collision led to SV Huizen getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kurt Pluym hit a great ball. Geale van Steensel came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Huizen's Boudewijn Anneese. But to his dismay, Boudewijn Anneese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the match was over SV Huizen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Roekoe throughout the match.
