Spectators: 7319 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adamantios Pilafis started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venesluis S.C.'s Roy Neeskens got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Niebert FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hans Bennink hit a great ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Adamantios Pilafis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niebert FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adamantios Pilafis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Venesluis S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Need. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roy Neeskens during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venesluis S.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Roy Neeskens hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Venesluis S.C.'s Selami Şatıroğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Bergmeester. Hugo Bergmeester yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Niebert FC's goalkeeper Hugo Bergmeester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frans Bults. Selami Şatıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Bults fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Bergmeester having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Selami Şatıroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Geale Drenth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carsten van Steensel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Niebert FC's Hugo Bergmeester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Niebert FC from getting a goal against them. After 37 played minutes Niebert FC got a freekick which was hit by Hans Bennink. Frans Bults's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Bergmeester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Venesluis S.C.'s Selami Şatıroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Niebert FC! Hugo Bergmeester had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Frans Bults's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Niebert FC defense, Frans Bults kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Bergmeester. The Niebert FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Bergmeester should have stopped the shot. Carsten van Steensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adamantios Pilafis in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Venesluis S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adamantios Pilafis came free, but Carsten van Steensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Folkert Aerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venesluis S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niebert FC the free kick. Adamantios Pilafis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72nd play minutes Selami Şatıroğlu shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Hugo Bergmeester and just under the crossbar into goal. Hugo Bergmeester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selami Şatıroğlu in the 77th minute of play. Niebert FC's Hugo Bergmeester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Bults in the 85th minute of play. Frans Bults hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes, Job Haydon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venesluis S.C. and the Niebert FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adamantios Pilafis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Geale Drenth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Niebert FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Venesluis S.C..
