Henry Rijkaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Martijn van der Gun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Henry Rijkaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Menno Drent rounded Bingerden FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0.
