Huib Scheepstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Buskes in the 27th minute of the match. When Martien Compaan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. Wim Wilminck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Huib Scheepstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitrie Barels hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sjors Bulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aad Derksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huib Scheepstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilminck in the 66th minute of play. Wim Wilminck took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huib Scheepstra. Huib Scheepstra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Wim Wilminck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creil Eendracht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilminck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-4 became the score in the 77th minute when Wim Wilminck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Vogelwijk booed when Creil Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoon Anneese didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Creil Eendracht's Mark Buskes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Huib Scheepstra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Pragt in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sjors Bulder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Creil Eendracht's goalkeeper Sjors Bulder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Vogelwijk manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Creil Eendracht to win.
