Alberino Alamea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberino Alamea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mart van Dam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Veninga in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Agelo's zone, Tomas Harms stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mart van Dam came out of the goal and Tomas Harms tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rick Veninga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eijsden's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Veninga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mart van Dam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niels-Jan Timmer charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niels-Jan Timmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Niels-Jan Timmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Harms in the 28th minute of play forced Agelo's goalkeeper Mart van Dam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agelo's Mart van Dam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Harms in the 30th minute of play. Tomas Harms didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 31st minute. Eijsden's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Alberino Alamea came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Eijsden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberino Alamea couldn't finish the play. In the last second Mart van Dam throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Harms in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Agelo's Olof Roordink got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tomas Harms in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mart van Dam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 41 minutes into the match, Ernst van Zelst had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Werner Broerse. Eijsden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernst van Zelst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Tomas Harms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart van Dam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agelo's Mart van Dam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Veninga in the 57th minute of play. If Rick Veninga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberino Alamea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niels-Jan Timmer got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Niels-Jan Timmer kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eijsden's Gijsbert Davids was substituted for Tomas Harms. In the 65th match minute, Eijsden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Timmer to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert Davids fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart van Dam having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Agelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurits Lembeck to maneuver through the defense. When Eijsden's Gijsbert Davids in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Agelo's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agelo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jens Bronkhorst was slow to take the kick. During this time Eijsden's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gijsbert Davids advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-1 in the 75th minute. Sever Vasiloiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mart van Dam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Eijsden's Gijsbert Davids sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mart van Dam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play Agelo's Maurits Lembeck was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Maurits Lembeck kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Mart van Dam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert Davids, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert Davids recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjorn van der Wiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart van Dam having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Eijsden players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
