After a defensive mix-up in Pijnacker Eendracht's zone, Rick Veninga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folker Wemers came out of the goal and Rick Veninga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Harms in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folker Wemers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Tomas Harms cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Folker Wemers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Harms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Folker Wemers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pijnacker Eendracht getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erik Heesen hit a great ball. Eijsden's Werner Broerse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Stuijvenberg in the 20th minute of play. Rick Veninga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Folker Wemers managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Eijsden's Rick Veninga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harold Smits kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Tomas Harms arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-0 by the left pole in the game's 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, one of Pijnacker Eendracht:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Folker Wemers made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tomas Harms sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Rick Veninga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Wemers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folker Wemers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthijs Koerts in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Harms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folker Wemers was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the game, Bjorn van der Wiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Folker Wemers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matthijs Koerts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folker Wemers. Pijnacker Eendracht's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pijnacker Eendracht's Jordi Dowie got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Pijnacker Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Harms came free, but Folker Wemers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Eijsden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Timmer to maneuver through the defense. The Eijsden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Harold Smits charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harold Smits the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Harold Smits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Pijnacker Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Veninga came free, but Folker Wemers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Folker Wemers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberino Alamea in the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that Eijsden were the better team. Eijsden's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
