Wormereer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gert Heuving fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Han Mussies having to interfere. Gert Heuving charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Heuving the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gert Heuving kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Henk Dagelet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Han Mussies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerrit Schaap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Tinge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melvin Redan in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Lex Schildkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Tinge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Redan in the 40th minute of play forced Wormereer's goalkeeper Roland Tinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Heukelom Utd's Han Mussies got control of the ball when Gert Heuving tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Tinge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Schildkamp in the 43rd minute of play. Henk Dagelet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Han Mussies read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Heukelom Utd's Han Mussies got control of the ball when Gert Heuving tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Wormereer defense, Lex Schildkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Tinge. The Wormereer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Tinge should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melvin Redan to strike the kick off in the second half. Gert Heuving fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Han Mussies having to interfere. Henk Dagelet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Heukelom Utd getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Domenik Lyesen hit a great ball. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Heukelom Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Heuving came free, but Han Mussies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Wormereer got a freekick which was hit by Marco Sleiffer.
