Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kristian Daalmeyer kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Fabiën Apotheker notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Staatsliedenwijk's Ronald Alkema. Ronald Alkema was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jacobus Savenije managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrier fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobus Savenije was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Alkema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Barrier fc's Kristian Daalmeyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronald Alkema narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Staatsliedenwijk's Ronald Alkema got control of the ball when Jacobus Savenije tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remco Cales in the 22nd minute of play forced Barrier fc's goalkeeper Rik de Ridder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Alkema was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Kristian Daalmeyer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kristian Daalmeyer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 29th minute, Staatsliedenwijk's Donald Akkerman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Donald Akkerman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Staatsliedenwijk protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donald Akkerman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiaan Ommen got free with Ronald Alkema in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remco Cales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rik de Ridder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remco Cales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remco Cales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik de Ridder having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remco Cales to strike the kick off in the second half. Staatsliedenwijk's Ronald Alkema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Daalmeyer in the 65th minute of play. Ronald Alkema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobus Savenije, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Ralph Egberts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralph Egberts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rik de Ridder having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Ralph Egberts made a precise shot to the right of Rik de Ridder. Barrier fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Kees de Hoop charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kees de Hoop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rik de Ridder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remco Cales's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ronald Alkema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Daalmeyer in the 82nd minute of the match. Remco Cales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik de Ridder having to interfere. If Ralph Egberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrier fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Staatsliedenwijk for a fine match.
