In the 48th minute, Casper Nyemanting sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Wv Noord's Eric Boekholt didn't even have to move. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Henk Veenhuis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giel Eschendaal in the 55th minute of play forced FC Wv Noord's goalkeeper Eric Boekholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, one of FC Wv Noord:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eric Boekholt had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Casper Nyemanting's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fred van Harten kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. FC Wv Noord's Richard Korfs got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Boekholt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When ChocoKrispis's Henk Veenhuis in the 100th minute got a chance for a shot 100th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wv Noord's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ChocoKrispis had won after a very even match.
