In the 5th minute, Casper Nyemanting sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Noordbroek's Gido Kostermans didn't even have to move. Giel Eschendaal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gido Kostermans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Giel Eschendaal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Veenhuis in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gido Kostermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Brain Vrede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Roelfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Scaeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Giel Eschendaal scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gido Kostermans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Brain Vrede had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Fred van Harten kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Henk Veenhuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gido Kostermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giel Eschendaals short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Gido Kostermans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Henk Veenhuis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 31 minutes into the match, Noordbroek's goalkeeper Gido Kostermans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giel Eschendaal. Giel Eschendaal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gido Kostermans made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Noordbroek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ChocoKrispis:s goal. Henk Veenhuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido Kostermans having to interfere. After 48 played minutes Henk Veenhuis rounded Noordbroek's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Scaeru to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Giel Eschendaal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ChocoKrispis's Henk Veenhuis got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gido Kostermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giel Eschendaal, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gido Kostermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veenhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
