Heten HC's Rogier Brouwer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geale Kuypers in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Casa Bonita's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Pierewaaijer came free, but Twan de Zwaan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogier Brouwer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Brinks in the 23rd minute of play. Karsten Schol charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karsten Schol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, one of Heten HC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Heten HC. Marco Ricksen's late challenge caught a Casa Bonita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Ricksen helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Ricksen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Heiko Brinks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurice Pierewaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes, Casa Bonita's Robin Driessens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogier Brouwer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casa Bonita reached it. Rogier Brouwer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geale Kuypers in the 69th minute. The supporters of Casa Bonita booed when Heten HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heten HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Ricksen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geale Kuypers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Heiko Brinks in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Casa Bonita's Heiko Brinks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogier Brouwer. That made the score 1-3 after 97 minutes of play. Casa Bonita were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Heten HC's much stronger midfield.
