With a left leg Nico-Jan Zoethout saved aussies from getting behind. The supporters of Leviathan FC booed when aussies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne van Zalingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Folker de Gooijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but aussies's Nico-Jan Zoethout was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Folker de Gooijer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico-Jan Zoethout was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folker de Gooijer in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nico-Jan Zoethout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven Buys hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Arjan Planting could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Fedele Alleva made a huge save. Nico-Jan Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folker de Gooijer in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Lucjan Fronczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico-Jan Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arjan Planting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fedele Alleva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Folker de Gooijer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leviathan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Lucjan Fronczak put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nico-Jan Zoethout. Nico-Jan Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folker de Gooijer in the 45th minute of play. Folker de Gooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nico-Jan Zoethout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Coos Brandsma to make the kick off. Leviathan FC's Elmar van der Werff got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Proença in the 92nd minute of play forced aussies's goalkeeper Nico-Jan Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by aussies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gooitzen Bijlsma was slow to take the kick. During this time Leviathan FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gooitzen Bijlsma almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but aussies's Nico-Jan Zoethout did a great save. When the match was over Leviathan FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than aussies throughout the match.
