Rogier Duinhoven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogier Duinhoven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijs Blikman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Gijs Blikman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogier Duinhoven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Willem de Witte's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Thomas Hoogendorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Scheper, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Scheper in the 62nd minute of play forced Leerdam's goalkeeper Thomas Hoogendorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
