Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roelof van Zelst got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Raymond Schenkhuizen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in VanRud V.'s zone, Harold van Fessum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mart Bust came out of the goal and Harold van Fessum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Overboeicop getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alfred Heulmann hit a great ball. Overboeicop's Roland van Steensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sander Arends in the 16th minute of play. When Harold van Fessum fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overboeicop's protests and gave Harold van Fessum a yellow card for diving instead. Harold van Fessum hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Overboeicop getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Roelof van Zelst hit a great ball. Gerard Borg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roland van Steensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sander Arends managed to get in a good position for a shot. VanRud V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sander Arends was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland van Steensel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harold van Fessum was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Harold van Fessum kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Overboeicop's Roelof van Zelst got a free kick in the 27th minute. Roland van Steensel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sander Arends, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bram Rinzema kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, VanRud V.'s goalkeeper Mart Bust had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Bender. After a rather tough play, VanRud V.'s Teo Harms got a free kick in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bram Rinzema during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bram Rinzema kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Raymond Schenkhuizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VanRud V.'s Mart Bust proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save VanRud V. from getting a goal against them. Roelof van Zelst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart Bust having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sander Arends stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. VanRud V.'s Mart Bust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Bender in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Raymond Schenkhuizen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mart Bust made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Schenkhuizen in the 58th minute of play. Raymond Schenkhuizen struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mart Bust didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Overboeicop. Bram Rinzema kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Raymond Schenkhuizen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mart Bust was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roland van Steensel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sander Arends, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, Sipke Robben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland van Steensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sander Arends in the 79th minute of the match. Wim Sandbergen went to the cornerflag to take it. Mart Bust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Schenkhuizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
