Andreas Fleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bill van Wonderen's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Derk Ieberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bill van Wonderen came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Oosterbroek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bill van Wonderen couldn't finish the play. Melvin Bodde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Oosterbroek's goalkeeper Stephan van den Brink had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmar Tieleman. A collision led to Broekerhaven getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gerben Strobos hit a great ball. Andreas Fleur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derk Ieberts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Bill van Wonderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Fleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Geale Schipper made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Broekerhaven's Elmar Tieleman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephan van den Brink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Stephan van den Brink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Tieleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A hard shot 78 in the game by Bill van Wonderen from a close distance when the talented Andreas Fleur managed to make a qualified save. Broekerhaven's players were relieved. Melvin Bodde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bill van Wonderen in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Fleur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes, Broekerhaven's Gerben Strobos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stephan van den Brink came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broekerhaven reached it. In the 94th minute, Bill van Wonderen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oosterbroek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
