Gerjan Ronde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Boschker in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Dries Bronkhorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddy Boschker struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Gerjan Ronde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for D-Team. Gerjan Ronde made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eddy Boschker sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddy Boschker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christiaan Tieleman charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiaan Tieleman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. D-Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
