In the 6th minute, Izaak Mülder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Ed de Groot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerjan Ronde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izaak Mülder in the 8th minute of play forced Kaatsheuvel's goalkeeper Gerjan Ronde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommie Hoezen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Eiting in the 10th minute of the match. Tommie Hoezen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郑朋森 in the 20th minute of play. Ed de Groot's late challenge caught a Kaatsheuvel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ed de Groot helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sibenlo HC's Ed de Groot got a free kick in the 20th minute. 郑朋森's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommie Hoezen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Michel Eiting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tommie Hoezen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 郑朋森 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Hoezen having to interfere. Tommie Hoezen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donald Kromkamp went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Meindert Oorschot scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerjan Ronde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerjan Ronde made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Meindert Oorschot sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Sibenlo HC got a freekick which was hit by Ed de Groot. After 41 minutes of play Sibenlo HC's Ed de Groot was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Sibenlo HC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ed de Groot hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Sibenlo HC's Izaak Mülder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After having played for 47 minutes, 郑朋森 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaatsheuvel's supporters crossed their fingers, but 郑朋森 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjors Genkenaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kaatsheuvel booed when Sibenlo HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meindert Oorschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fokke de Zwaan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaatsheuvel's supporters rose to their feet, but Fokke de Zwaan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommie Hoezen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Eiting received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommie Hoezen came out and tried to block the shot, but Michel Eiting slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Sibenlo HC's goalkeeper Tommie Hoezen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Eiting. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sibenlo HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fokke de Zwaan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kaatsheuvel's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Donald Kromkamp managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Michel Eiting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaatsheuvel's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Eiting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. It was a penalty for Sibenlo HC! Izaak Mülder hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sibenlo HC's Izaak Mülder got a free kick in the 87th minute. Izaak Mülder kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Tommie Hoezen made an important save on a dangerous shot by 郑朋森 in the 97th minute. Tommie Hoezen was a little too slow when Michel Eiting got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 99th minute. The score was now 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Kaatsheuvel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sibenlo HC.
