Sven Jurjens succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Hans Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Assendelft having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Hans Lange cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Frits Assendelft was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Stopped with game's Berend van der Struijk got a free kick in the 25th minute. Melvin Wessels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Jurjens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Hans Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stopped with game's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Lange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Assendelft breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Stopped with game's zone, Sven Jurjens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melvin Wessels came out of the goal and Sven Jurjens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hans Lange struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Frits Assendelft didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stopped with game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Mos in the 70th minute of play forced Stopped with game's goalkeeper Melvin Wessels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cees Boelens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cees Boelens struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Frits Assendelft didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stopped with game. Hans Lange received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frits Assendelft came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans Lange slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 77th minute. Jacobus Ax charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobus Ax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacobus Ax kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sven Jurjens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melvin Wessels having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Ruud Graaff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven Jurjens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Melvin Wessels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Stopped with game's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Jurjens came free, but Melvin Wessels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stopped with game players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Bijlmer FC.
