Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Bram Velez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grootelint's supporters rose to their feet, but Bram Velez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gio van der Valk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Ranzijn in the 5th minute of play forced Roosendaaltjes's goalkeeper Gio van der Valk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Mickael Ijsselhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio van der Valk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Roosendaaltjes getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Martien Roswinkel hit a great ball. Lenílson Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Peter Klok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lenílson Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Gio van der Valk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Bömker in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Grootelint's Gerrit Bömker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gio van der Valk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kees Ranzijn succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Kees Ranzijn scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gio van der Valk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Ferdi Klaassen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gio van der Valk. Roosendaaltjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdi Klaassen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 35th minute, Kees Ranzijn made a precise shot to the right of Gio van der Valk. Roosendaaltjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 41st minute Gerrit Bömker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio van der Valk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lenílson Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Peter Klok having to interfere. Wessel Theuws could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jan-Peter Klok made a huge save. After 49 minutes of play, Grootelint's Mickael Ijsselhof made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gio van der Valk was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Roosendaaltjes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grootelint were winning 1-6.

Jan-Peter Klok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wessel Theuws, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With his leg Gio van der Valk managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Grootelint's Mickael Ijsselhof fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lenílson Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jan-Peter Klok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gio van der Valk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Ranzijn in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Roosendaaltjes's Martien Roswinkel got a free kick in the 69th minute. Gio van der Valk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Ranzijn, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Roosendaaltjes's goal looked a bit too open when Kees Ranzijn came free, but Gio van der Valk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Lenílson Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roosendaaltjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickael Ijsselhof got free with Gio van der Valk in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Peter Klok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Santos in the 89th minute of play. When Wessel Theuws came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Roosendaaltjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wessel Theuws couldn't finish the play. If Lenílson Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
