Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Grasmaaijer started the match with the kick off. Johan de Graaf's late challenge caught a Zeegat V.V.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan de Graaf helped the player get up and apologised. Serge Sans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Oostendorp's Billy Daalmeyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henk van der Saar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Michael Grasmaaijer came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Oostendorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Grasmaaijer couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Dimitrie Anneese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Michael Grasmaaijer came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Oostendorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Grasmaaijer couldn't finish the play. Henk van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Daalmeyer in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Billy Daalmeyer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oostendorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Daalmeyer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henk van der Saar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Grasmaaijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk van der Saar having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Oostendorp's goal looked a bit too open when Berend Oosterveld came free, but Tom Busch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Daalmeyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. The penalty shot was made by Henry Wijngaart, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zeegat V.V.'s Henk van der Saar. 0-1. Oostendorp's Billy Daalmeyer got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Michael Grasmaaijer came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Oostendorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Grasmaaijer couldn't finish the play. Billy Daalmeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk van der Saar having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Billy Daalmeyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Daalmeyer in the 42nd minute of play forced Zeegat V.V.'s goalkeeper Henk van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Daalmeyer in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berend Oosterveld made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Johan de Graaf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Billy Daalmeyer came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Oostendorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Daalmeyer couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes, Dimitrie Anneese mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zeegat V.V. and the Oostendorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dimitrie Anneese kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Tom Busch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitrie Anneese in the 64th minute of the match. Berend Oosterveld kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Michael Grasmaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Billy Daalmeyer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henk van der Saar. Billy Daalmeyer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Michael Grasmaaijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Oostendorp's Billy Daalmeyer in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Henk van der Saar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Billy Daalmeyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Henk van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfred Buckinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zeegat V.V.'s goalkeeper Henk van der Saar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oostendorp's Billy Daalmeyer got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henk van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Daalmeyer in the 87th minute of the match. Henk van der Saar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Daalmeyer in the 90th minute. Zeegat V.V.'s Henk van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Grasmaaijer in the 93rd minute of play. Raymond Elst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Henk van der Saar made a huge save.
