Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Twan Teuws shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Verbeek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Domburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Teuws came free, but Theo Verbeek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Rinus Jongsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rinus Jongsma's late challenge caught a Vorstenbosch FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rinus Jongsma helped the player get up and apologised. Theo Verbeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirko Meindert in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Mirko Meindert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Verbeek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Verbeek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Teuws, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hub Weerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rinus Davids, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes, Mirko Meindert made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Domburg HC's Theo Verbeek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Domburg HC's Arjan Verheije slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hub Weerman. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vorstenbosch FC's zone, Olof Cohen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hub Weerman came out of the goal and Olof Cohen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jurgen Hoffhuis charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurgen Hoffhuis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the game, Rinus Davids cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hub Weerman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Twan Teuws to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar van Rijswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Vorstenbosch FC's Hub Weerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rinus Davids in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Cohen in the 64th minute of play forced Vorstenbosch FC's goalkeeper Hub Weerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Vorstenbosch FC got a freekick which was hit by Jurgen Hoffhuis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rinus Davids in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hub Weerman saved Vorstenbosch FC from getting behind. Hub Weerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Cohen, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Rinus Davids ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hub Weerman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Hub Weerman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rinus Davids's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Olof Cohen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hub Weerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Domburg HC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
