When FC Breda's Mathieu Maasland in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 19 minutes, Remond Dagelet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Future Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remond Dagelet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes U21 Future Stars got a freekick which was hit by Fernando van Zijp. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mathieu Maasland managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Breda's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathieu Maasland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiaan Roelfs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Atsma got free with Christiaan Roelfs in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christiaan Roelfs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Atsma in the 28th minute. Remond Dagelet struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Dolf Lever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Future Stars. The referee ignored FC Breda's protests and gave Jan Compaan a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, U21 Future Stars's Dolf Lever threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remond Dagelet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74thth minute of the game Remond Dagelet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Breda's Dolf Lever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dolf Lever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remond Dagelet in the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mathieu Maasland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiaan Roelfs was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Ralph Meijer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dolf Lever. FC Breda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
