Lom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Lembeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiaan Roelfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Pronk in the 15th minute of the match. U21 Future Stars's Christiaan Roelfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Pronk in the 19th minute of play. Fernando van Zijp kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Christiaan Pronk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christiaan Roelfs. U21 Future Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiaan Pronk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Lembeck in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiaan Roelfs saved U21 Future Stars from getting behind. After 24 played minutes U21 Future Stars got a freekick which was hit by Joop Baars. Kevin Lembeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christiaan Roelfs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Lembeck ran back to his position shaking his head. If Remond Dagelet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiaan Pronk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Bernard Franssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Future Stars's Christiaan Roelfs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Christiaan Pronk made a precise shot to the right of Christiaan Roelfs. U21 Future Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Jeffrey Bartele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arnold Buskermolen made a huge save. Arnold Buskermolen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remond Dagelet in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Remond Dagelet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Buskermolen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes U21 Future Stars got a freekick which was hit by Joop Baars. In the 49th minute of the match Gido de Kort shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiaan Roelfs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Remond Dagelet made the kick off in the second half. If Christiaan Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeffrey Bartele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando van Zijp charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Lom booed when U21 Future Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando van Zijp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Kevin Lembeck fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christiaan Roelfs, passed just outside the right post. U21 Future Stars's Christiaan Roelfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Pronk in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiaan Pronk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christiaan Roelfs. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. After 74 played minutes U21 Future Stars got a freekick which was hit by Fernando van Zijp. A collision led to U21 Future Stars getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joop Baars hit a great ball. Christiaan Roelfs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Lembeck in the 83rd minute. Christiaan Roelfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Pronk in the 85th minute of the match. Kevin Lembeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiaan Roelfs having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Bernard Franssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Remond Dagelet came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the U21 Future Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remond Dagelet couldn't finish the play.
