The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Cityside getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Alagoano hit a great ball. Vincent van der Schans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dino Galvão made a huge save. In the 5th minute, Wu Bin Yao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huib Kruis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to FC Cityside getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Alagoano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Cityside's Gero Tebar got a free kick in the 11th minute. Twist's Gert Jan Kregel got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes FC Cityside got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Prado. When FC Cityside's Wu Bin Yao in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Twist's goalie prevented a goal. Dino Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harris Hof, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Twist's Gregor Griemink got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37thth minute of the game Wu Bin Yao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twist's Huib Kruis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Cafu Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Huib Kruis was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Wu Bin Yao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Huib Kruis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Bin Yao, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cafu Prado made a kick off. Huib Kruis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fedor Demyanenko. Wu Bin Yao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Huib Kruis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th match minute, FC Cityside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christijan van Rooijen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Cityside getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fedor Demyanenko hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Twist got a freekick which was hit by Vincent van der Schans. Wu Bin Yao didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 82nd minute. FC Cityside's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Huib Kruis had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cafu Prado from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Huib Kruis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Bin Yao got free with Huib Kruis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Huib Kruis throw himself and got hold of the ball when David Temen in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FC Cityside played a much better game than Twist and deserved their victory. The Twist players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
