In the 6th minute, Danny Zevenberg made a precise shot to the right of Stephan Ottens. fc asbak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jelle Schophuis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Danny Zevenbergs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Stephan Ottens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 齐亦昆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy Baalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Argontis's zone, Egbert de Nooijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 齐亦昆 came out of the goal and Egbert de Nooijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Argontis's goal looked a bit too open when Gertjan Roordink came free, but 齐亦昆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 齐亦昆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egbert de Nooijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. fc asbak's Stephan Ottens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Zevenberg in the 29th minute of play. fc asbak's Egbert de Nooijer got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, fc asbak's goalkeeper Stephan Ottens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny Zevenberg. When Bram de Vries fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc asbak's protests and gave Bram de Vries a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in fc asbak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Argontis. Marc Tonnis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stephan Ottens. 2-0. fc asbak's Stephan Ottens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save fc asbak from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danny Zevenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jaap Dongen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Ottens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaap Dongen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stephan Ottens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Argontis booed when fc asbak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk-Jan Groten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Marco Zwartkruis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stephan Ottens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Jaap Dongen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Ottens. fc asbak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaap Dongen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jaap Dongen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaap Dongen struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Stephan Ottens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argontis. Danny Zevenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stephan Ottens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Zevenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, fc asbak's Gertjan Roordink got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Argontis's Danny Zevenberg in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye fc asbak's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Zevenberg in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephan Ottens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jaap Dongen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Danny Zevenberg came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Argontis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Zevenberg couldn't finish the play. Jaap Dongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Ottens having to interfere. Jaap Dongen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Stephan Ottens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argontis. Argontis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
