Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godfried Opdam started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Arne Kersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaap Dongen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jan Atsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Danny Zevenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argontis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Zevenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Boelens's late challenge caught a Argontis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim Boelens helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deutsche Mannschaft getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jim Boelens hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Deutsche Mannschaft's goal looked a bit too open when Jaap Dongen came free, but Jan Atsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deutsche Mannschaft's zone, Jaap Dongen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Atsma came out of the goal and Jaap Dongen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Jan Atsma managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Argontis's Danny Zevenberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Danny Zevenbergs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Jan Atsma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Danny Zevenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jan Atsma made a huge save. Jan Atsma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaap Dongen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Danny Zevenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Atsma having to interfere. If Jaap Dongen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Zevenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jan Atsma made a huge save. Argontis's Danny Zevenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd minute Danny Zevenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Atsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes, Danny Zevenberg made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deutsche Mannschaft's Jan Atsma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 played minutes Argontis got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Koster. Jan Atsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Zevenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Deutsche Mannschaft's Jan Atsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaap Dongen in the 72nd minute of play. Argontis's Jaap Dongen got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaap Dongen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argontis's Marco Zwartkruis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Zevenberg in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Atsma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Jelle Schophuis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Atsma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Deutsche Mannschaft's Godfried Opdam got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Jaap Dongen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jan Atsma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argontis had played much better football throughout.
