Felix Stegeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Sloothaak in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Joris Sloothaak made a precise shot to the right of Felix Stegeman. Feniks Zuidhorn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 17th minute, Cor Degeling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Twan Barendregt. The goal made the score 1-2. A collision led to Lukas HC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Arne Jonkman hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Feniks Zuidhorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cor Degeling to maneuver through the defense. If Victor Hofmeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arno Meijering might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Stegeman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arno Meijering ran back to his position shaking his head. Twan Barendregt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve van der Doelen in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arno Meijering managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lukas HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arno Meijering was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Stegeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Stegeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Hofmeester, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Lukas HC's Arno Meijering in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Feniks Zuidhorn's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arno Meijering stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Feniks Zuidhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Sloothaak came free, but Felix Stegeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cor Degeling's late challenge caught a Lukas HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cor Degeling helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Cor Degeling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joris Sloothaak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Stegeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arno Meijering in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Lukas HC's Arno Meijering sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Stegeman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Feniks Zuidhorn's zone, Jan Spijker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Stegeman came out of the goal and Jan Spijker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jan Spijker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joris Sloothaak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jan Spijker came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Lukas HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Spijker couldn't finish the play. Felix Stegeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Spijker in the 74th minute. Jan Spijker struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Felix Stegeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lukas HC. Victor Hofmeester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Felix Stegeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Feniks Zuidhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Meijering came free, but Felix Stegeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Feniks Zuidhorn's goalkeeper Felix Stegeman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sander Keller came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Feniks Zuidhorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sander Keller couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Feniks Zuidhorn's zone, Joris Sloothaak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Stegeman came out of the goal and Joris Sloothaak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Spijker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas HC played a much better game than Feniks Zuidhorn and deserved their victory. The Feniks Zuidhorn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
