Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antoon Tevreden took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Gilbert Zevenhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Red Smokers booed when GO AHEAD SATINK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stijn Latten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sjef de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Teuws in the 9th minute of the match. When Ryan Sloedingen came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the GO AHEAD SATINK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Sloedingen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Teuws in the 20th minute of play forced GO AHEAD SATINK's goalkeeper Sjef de Jong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoon Tevreden in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Zuidema saved Red Smokers from getting behind. Henry Zuidema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoon Tevreden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Red Smokers's Vincent Teuws got a free kick in the 24th minute. GO AHEAD SATINK's Antoon Tevreden got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Red Smokers's goal looked a bit too open when Antoon Tevreden came free, but Henry Zuidema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, GO AHEAD SATINK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastiaan Bosman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Janssen in the 35th minute of play forced GO AHEAD SATINK's goalkeeper Sjef de Jong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Sloedingen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Red Smokers's Dennis van der Bij nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sjef de Jong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Rik Veldhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vincent Teuws kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis van der Bij made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Stijn Latten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Smokers's Henry Zuidema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Antoon Tevreden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Zuidema was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Meindert Timmer hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Henry Zuidema came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by GO AHEAD SATINK's Ryan Sloedingen. But to his dismay, Ryan Sloedingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Smokers's goalkeeper Henry Zuidema, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antoon Tevreden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Henry Zuidema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Henk Kinear fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Smokers's protests and gave Henk Kinear a yellow card for diving instead. Henk Kinear kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Henry Zuidema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoon Tevreden, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Red Smokers's Henk Kinear got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of GO AHEAD SATINK booed when Red Smokers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luc van Amersfoort didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, GO AHEAD SATINK's goalkeeper Sjef de Jong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Teuws. 78 minutes into the match, GO AHEAD SATINK's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis van der Bij came free, but Sjef de Jong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Ryan Sloedingen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Henry Zuidema was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
