Hendrik-Jan Legdeur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk van Fessum having to interfere. Dirk van Fessum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Maasland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Frieswijk's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Maasland came free, but Dirk van Fessum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Steven Roelfs managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Frieswijk's Eric Velez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute, Gerard Maasland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Gerard Maasland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk van Fessum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gerard Maasland came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Anduze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard Maasland couldn't finish the play. If Gerjan Vos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Ivo Spanjer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Anduze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Spanjer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerard Maasland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gerard Maasland managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Anduze's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Maasland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk van Fessum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Velez got free with Steven Roelfs in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Eric Velez made a precise shot to the right of Steven Roelfs. FC Anduze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Frieswijk getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Laurens Zon hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lennart Tanis made the kick off in the second half. Lennart Tanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, one of FC Anduze:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. But to his dismay, Arjen Dekkers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 91 played minutes, Frieswijk's Dries Sterenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steven Roelfs came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frieswijk reached it. Gerjan Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Eric Velez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Roelfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Roelfs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of FC Anduze's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Anduze may have spent more time on the ball, but Frieswijk were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
