When Gerard Maasland came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Anduze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard Maasland couldn't finish the play. Jan Kik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerjan Vos in the 26th minute of the match. Marnix Bekker charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marnix Bekker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Anduze booed when Fc duindorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marnix Bekker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Fc duindorp's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Maasland came free, but Jan Kik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerjan Vos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Fc duindorp's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Maasland came free, but Jan Kik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerjan Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc duindorp's Jan Kik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Maasland in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes, Fabian Daverveld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Anduze and the Fc duindorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Anduze's Fabian Daverveld got a free kick in the 36th minute. Gerard Maasland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Kik came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Anduze's Fabian Daverveld. But to his dismay, Fabian Daverveld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Fc duindorp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Anduze were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Maasland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sipke van Gessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Anduze's Fabian Daverveld got a free kick in the 55th minute. FC Anduze's Steven Roelfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipke van Gessel in the 58th minute of play. When Gerjan Vos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Anduze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerjan Vos couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, FC Anduze's Gerjan Vos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Gerard Maasland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Jan Kik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sipke van Gessel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Maasland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Kik firmly grabbed it by the left post. Boudewijn Been kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Hans Harms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Fabian Daverveld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerard Maasland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jan Kik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerjan Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fc duindorp's zone, Gerard Maasland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Kik came out of the goal and Gerard Maasland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Anduze's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
