Teo Zandstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koen de Graaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Harm Lubbers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fred Panter came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Focsani Thunder FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Panter couldn't finish the play. 52 minutes into the match, Harm Lubbers notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of rkvv haelen's Teo Zandstra. Teo Zandstra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teo Zandstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Panter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, rkvv haelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Kuypers to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Focsani Thunder FC booed when rkvv haelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert de Boer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Rinus Israel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Focsani Thunder FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after rkvv haelen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco van Rhijn took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rinus Israel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teo Zandstra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute, Rinus Israel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Zandstra was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The audience was convinced that Harm Lubbers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Zandstra was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 85th play minutes Harm Lubbers shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Teo Zandstra and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 90th minute, Rinus Israel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Harm Lubbers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Harm Lubbers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rkvv haelen's Teo Zandstra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
