Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Pronk kicked off to start the match. Marco van Rhijn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Harm Lubbers made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zwartewaal HC's Barry van Loo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Harm Lubbers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 16 played minutes Zwartewaal HC got a freekick which was hit by Bram Cramer. The supporters of Focsani Thunder FC booed when Zwartewaal HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram Cramer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harm Lubbers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Barry van Loo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, David Pronk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Zwaanswijk. Focsani Thunder FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Pronk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Harm Lubbers notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zwartewaal HC's Barry van Loo. Barry van Loo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Harm Lubbers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Barry van Loo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 41 minutes, Harm Lubbers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Focsani Thunder FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harm Lubbers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zwartewaal HC's Barry van Loo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Zwartewaal HC from getting a goal against them. Barry van Loo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Panter, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Harm Lubbers took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Barry van Loo to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Bram Cramer kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Zwartewaal HC's Barry van Loo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm Lubbers in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Častislav Kutnar in the 57th minute of play forced Zwartewaal HC's goalkeeper Barry van Loo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Harm Lubbers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barry van Loo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Barry van Loo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rinus Israel in the 68th minute of the match. Kenneth Zwaanswijk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Pronk's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Častislav Kutnar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Zwartewaal HC's goal looked a bit too open when Harm Lubbers came free, but Barry van Loo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry van Loo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Lubbers in the 81st minute of play. Bram Cramer hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harm Lubbers in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barry van Loo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barry van Loo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rinus Israel in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Harm Lubbers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barry van Loo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Barry van Loo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm Lubbers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Focsani Thunder FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
