Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pieter Lange took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, rkvv haelen's Pieter Lange ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaap Jochemsen. Jaap Jochemsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Ralph Temen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Smalbroek's Daniel Kremer got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jaap Jochemsen was a little too slow when Bruno Kuypers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Teo Roeters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jaap Jochemsen made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaas Wegman in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Zandstra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Kuypers kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Smalbroek's Jaap Jochemsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Lange in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Smalbroek. Ralph Temen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teo Zandstra. 2-1. Teo Zandstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Wegman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Pieter Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap Jochemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, rkvv haelen's Teo Roeters got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to rkvv haelen getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Demy Matthijs hit a great ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Klaas Wegman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rkvv haelen's Teo Zandstra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Smalbroek's Jaap Jochemsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Lange in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klaas Wegman to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Smalbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter Lange came free, but Jaap Jochemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Demy Matthijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap Jochemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Mark Roelfs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. rkvv haelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smalbroek the free kick. Mark Roelfs kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Klaas Wegman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Pieter Lange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The rkvv haelen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, rkvv haelen's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Vedder came free, but Teo Zandstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Folker Cales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When rkvv haelen's Pieter Lange in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Smalbroek's Daniel Kremer got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Demy Matthijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frits Vedder came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Smalbroek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frits Vedder couldn't finish the play.
