Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnout Hof started the match with the kick off. Arnout Hof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douwe Meijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobus Neijsen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douwe Meijer in the 10th minute of play forced Ruimel's goalkeeper Cobus Neijsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arjan Tamminga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Ruimel got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Bergen. Rolf van den Eede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stijn Blanker, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Hof in the 26th minute of play forced Ruimel's goalkeeper Cobus Neijsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ruimel's goal looked a bit too open when Douwe Meijer came free, but Cobus Neijsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobus Neijsen came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Vught United's Douwe Meijer. But to his dismay, Douwe Meijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Douwe Meijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cobus Neijsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Hof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Vught United's Arnout Hof nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cobus Neijsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The long shot by Tom Jurjens in the 59th minute really tested Cobus Neijsen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 62nd minute, Robert Staarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Hof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lukasz Winszman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cobus Neijsen was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnout Bodde during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Vught United got a freekick which was hit by Arnout Bodde. After 73 played minutes, Ruimel's Stefan Sanders shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolf van den Eede came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ruimel reached it. Rolf van den Eede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjan Tamminga in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Ruimel getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Marnix van Boxel hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Ruimel got a freekick which was hit by Marnix van Boxel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeffrey de Boer got free with Cobus Neijsen in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vught United's Tom Beuneker was substituted for Arnout Bodde. Jeffrey de Boer let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 87th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Jeffrey de Boers short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Cobus Neijsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Douwe Meijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cobus Neijsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th play minute Lukasz Winszman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cobus Neijsen. 0-6. Vught United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
