The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerard ter Averst helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Stolpskottet Väsby BK got a freekick which was hit by Gerard ter Averst. In the 4th minute, Jeffrey Steffens made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Akkerman. Lutkepost V.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match Jacco Otten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Janošec skillfully saved the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jeffrey Steffens made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Akkerman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jeffrey Steffens came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Stolpskottet Väsby BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Steffens couldn't finish the play. Gerard ter Averst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alexander Akkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Jeffrey Steffens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Akkerman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a little luck, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Petr Janošec got control of the ball when Mirko Mosselveld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeffrey Steffens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes of play, Lutkepost V.V.'s Wilco Hegeman made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 40th minute Jeffrey Steffens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Akkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Mirko Mosselveld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lutkepost V.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stolpskottet Väsby BK the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Lutkepost V.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Mosselveld to maneuver through the defense. Alex van Rijswijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeffrey Steffens charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeffrey Steffens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th match minute, Stolpskottet Väsby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Steffens to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard ter Averst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jeffrey Steffens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Akkerman was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eelco Zandberg in the 54th minute of play forced Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goalkeeper Petr Janošec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lutkepost V.V.'s Alexander Akkerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lutkepost V.V. from getting a goal against them. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jeffrey Steffens got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Gerard ter Averst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stolpskottet Väsby BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. When Gerard ter Averst came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Stolpskottet Väsby BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard ter Averst couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Blanker during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Stolpskottet Väsby BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stolpskottet Väsby BK. Petr Janošec had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Jacco Otten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Stolpskottet Väsby BK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alex van Rijswijk hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Wilco Hegeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Janošec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Akkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Steffens, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Lutkepost V.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Mosselveld to maneuver through the defense. Gerard ter Averst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stolpskottet Väsby BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
