Erik Zuurman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Gido Heikens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Henk Akkerman scored 2-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bastiaan Schokkenbroek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Zuurman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gido Heikens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SepFC's Bastiaan Schokkenbroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Akkerman in the 76th minute of play. Taco van Driest kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Henk Akkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amsterdam Baarsjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henk Akkerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bastiaan Schokkenbroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Akkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gido Heikens prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
