After a rather tough play, Aalburg's Maurits Mueller got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cor Wiarda came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg FC's Martijn Makaay. But to his dismay, Martijn Makaay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Belchior Mamalis sped through Aalburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cor Wiarda. After some careless play in the Aalburg defense, Martijn Makaay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cor Wiarda. The Aalburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cor Wiarda should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Belchior Mamalis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cor Wiarda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Limburg FC's Pierre Weken was substituted for Roy de Boer. The referee gave Limburg FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martijn Makaay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aalburg's Cor Wiarda. 0-6. Belchior Mamalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cor Wiarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Makaay in the 29th minute of the match. The referee showed Karel Ponk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Limburg FC's Jef Ter was substituted for Belchior Mamalis. A collision led to Aalburg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Karel Ponk hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Martijn Makaay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cor Wiarda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Martijn Makaay took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cor Wiarda. Cor Wiarda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Jef Ter made a precise shot to the right of Cor Wiarda. Aalburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jef Ter in the 57th minute of play forced Aalburg's goalkeeper Cor Wiarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Martijn Makaay notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Aalburg's Cor Wiarda. Cor Wiarda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Martijn Makaay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Cor Wiarda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cor Wiarda was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Jef Ter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jef Ter really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. Martijn Makaay scored 0-14 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cor Wiarda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jef Ter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Aalburg getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Karel Ponk hit a great ball. When Martijn Makaay came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Limburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martijn Makaay couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jef Ter got free with Cor Wiarda in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martijn Makaay might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cor Wiarda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martijn Makaay ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrik Myr kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Maurits Mueller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aalburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurits Mueller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 朱德洋 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cor Wiarda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-15. 88 minutes into the match, Aalburg's goal looked a bit too open when Jef Ter came free, but Cor Wiarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Pierre Weken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg FC and the Aalburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Pierre Weken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jef Ter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cor Wiarda made a huge save. Cor Wiarda made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jef Ter sent off a good shot on target. Martijn Makaay charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martijn Makaay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Limburg FC's Martijn Makaay got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Aalburg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Limburg FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
