Joep Haar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joep Haar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elco Roswinkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Peppies FC's Twan Wilson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joep Haar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rogier van der Tol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes sparta rotterdam got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Schreuder. Elco Roswinkel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joep Haar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Floris Roelofsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Temen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Elco Roswinkel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peppies FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elco Roswinkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joep Haar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derk van Zijderveld's late challenge caught a Peppies FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derk van Zijderveld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, sparta rotterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derk van Zijderveld to maneuver through the defense. Floris Roelofsen struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Andreas Temen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sparta rotterdam.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elco Roswinkel to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Joep Haar managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Peppies FC's Twan Wilson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacco den Engelsman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Elco Roswinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elco Roswinkel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joep Haar came out and tried to block the shot, but Elco Roswinkel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Twan Wilson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peppies FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Twan Wilson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joep Haar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elco Roswinkel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Peppies FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ruben Schreuder hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to sparta rotterdam getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rafael Duinhoven hit a great ball. Joep Haar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elco Roswinkel in the 87th minute of the match. Rogier van der Tol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Andreas Temen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of sparta rotterdam booed when Peppies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Teunissen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Temen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Floris Roelofsen in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Demy Schimmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Elco Roswinkel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
