Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Jorwerd's Joost Opdam in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SepFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute, Roland Remmelts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SepFC's Niels-Jan Weinands tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Erik Zuurman made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jorwerd's Sven Pilage tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paul Wiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Pilage having to interfere. Sven Pilage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karsten Prinsen in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Jorwerd got a freekick which was hit by Roland Remmelts. After some careless play in the Jorwerd defense, Erik Zuurman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Pilage. The Jorwerd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Pilage should have stopped the shot. Paul Wiggers might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Pilage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Wiggers ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Oosterveld hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Jorwerd got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Oosterveld. 36 minutes into the match, SepFC's Paul Wiggers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Pilage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Paul Wiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Pilage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joost Opdam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bastiaan Schokkenbroek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joost Opdam to make the kick off. Jorwerd's Ferdi Olfers got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Zuurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joost Opdam in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastiaan Schokkenbroek saved SepFC from getting behind. Sven Pilage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Wiggers in the 66th minute of play. Bastiaan Schokkenbroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Opdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. SepFC's Bastiaan Schokkenbroek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SepFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, SepFC's Bastiaan Schokkenbroek got control of the ball when Ferdi Olfers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taco van Driest's late challenge caught a Jorwerd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taco van Driest helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SepFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Taco van Driest hit a great ball. Joost Opdam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bastiaan Schokkenbroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joost Opdam in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SepFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jorwerd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
